Synchronization
Up to 6 M8190A AWG modules or 12 independent channels to generate complex signal scenarios
Up to 4 M8051A and 1 M8041A BERT modules, or 10 independent channels
Precise calibration for repeatable measurements
One trigger input can trigger up to 6 M8190A modules with deterministic time delay, or 4 M8051A and 1 M8041A modules
Skew repeatability of 2 ps between any two channels, independent of sample rate
Skew resolution of 50 fs between any two channels
1 U AXIe module for high port density
If tests are complex and sometimes require multiple waveforms to be played back simultaneously (e.g., multi-transmitter tests), the M8192A synchronization module can easily handle this requirement, allowing engineers to synchronize up to 12 M8190A channels. It can be installed in a standard AXIe host.
The M8192A synchronization module also supports testing high-speed digital buses such as PCI Express®.
Test efficiency is further enhanced by connecting the M8051A and M8041A BERT modules in parallel, allowing up to 10 channels to be tested. These modules can be kept synchronized with the M8192A module.
Typical applications.
Phase-coherent multichannel I/Q signal generation for up to 6 I/Q pairs
Phase-coherent multi-channel IF/RF signal generation for up to 12 IF/RF signals
Multi-channel serial applications, such as PCI Express®
