In addition, Megatrend also uses its own service platform, Ptengine, to collect information about you and your visitors, which will help to provide insights into what users do on en.megatechsz.com.

Collection and Use of Customer and Visitor Personal Information

Customer and Visitor Personal Information is data that can be used to uniquely identify or contact a Customer and Visitor.

1.1) Collection of Customer and Visitor Personal Data

When a visitor enters a Megatrend customer's web site

Our customers may use customised and proprietary Megatrends code, software or services to obtain information about the activities of visitors while they are on our customers' web pages.

When a visitor accesses a web site that uses Megatrends' services, Megatrends' statistical code contained on the web site feeds back to Megatrends' servers and enables Megatrends to collect client-side visitor data, which helps our clients evaluate and understand how their visitors interact with their web sites, and to modify their web sites to make them more valuable to their visitors.

Megatrend's client determines the type of client-side visitor data that is sent to Megatrend's servers for analysis. This data may include or be linked to personally identifiable information about our clients and visitors, depending on how our clients use the Megatrends service on their websites. In addition, Megatrends may collect certain information from customers' and visitors' browsers on their computers. This includes browser information, operating system information, mobile device information, IP address, access times and referring websites, applications or services. Because Customers have the right to determine what information is collected from their visitors and to collect the foregoing information through the Megatrends Services, this Privacy Policy applies to any visitor data of any Customer, including personally identifiable information of visitors that Megatrends may collect, obtain or access through the Megatrends Services. Accordingly, each Customer shall also obtain the consent of its visitors and post an online privacy policy consistent with the contents of this Ordinance to ensure that each of its visitors authorises the Customer's website and Megatrends to collect, use and display data and information about them free of charge when they visit the Customer's website. If the customer is not in accordance with the foregoing agreement with the visitor to sign the online privacy policy in line with the content of the Ordinance, resulting in the visitor to claim any breach of contract / liability and other rights, the corresponding responsibility shall be borne by the customer, and Megatrend and Shenzhen Megatrend Technology Co.

However, we do not exclude the possibility of accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration or damage to your and your visitors' personal information for any other reason and we shall not be liable to you or your visitors for such loss, alteration or damage and you and your visitors acknowledge and agree that we shall not be liable to you or your visitors for any such loss, alteration or damage.

If Megatrends becomes involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of some or all of its assets, we will notify you before personal information is transferred and becomes subject to another privacy policy.
