Designed specifically for production testing of laser diode modules (LDM), the Model 2502 Photodiode Meter greatly enhances the capacity of Keithley's LIV (Light-Current-Voltage) test system. Developed in close cooperation with leading LDM manufacturers for fiber optic communication networks, this dual-channel instrument features easy synchronization with other system components for close control of optical power measurements.
The 2502 features a high-speed analog output port, thereby supporting the use of LIV test systems during the fiber calibration phase of the LDM manufacturing process. Through the use of buffered memory and Keithley Instruments' unique Trigger Link interface, the 2502 is able to provide users with the maximum capacity available for current LIV testing of laser diode modules. These instruments are designed to greatly meet the reliability and repeatability requirements for continuous operation in a twenty-four hour production environment.
