Each digital source meter is both a highly stable DC power supply and a true instrument-grade 6½-digit multimeter. The features of this power supply include low noise, precision, and readback. The multimeter's features include high repeatability and low noise. The result is a compact, single-channel, DC parameter tester. In operation, these instruments can be used as voltage sources, current sources, voltmeters, current meters and ohmmeters. Keithley 2401 SMU source meter instruments provide four quadrant precision voltage and current source/load, plus measurements on a touch screen user interface.
