The new Keysight 86122B multi-wavelength meter is ideal for efficient development, production, and verification of tunable laser transmitters and photonic systems for use in current and future high-speed applications.
The new 86122B multiwavelength meter is an updated version of the proven 86122A. It has been redesigned to provide continuous support and manufacturability, while also being updated to accommodate the current computing environment. Care must be taken to minimize costly downtime during testing that is performed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. While maintaining backward compatibility with previous products, the new version of the instrument also offers two USB ports accessible from the front panel for connecting a USB flash memory, mouse or keyboard.

Advanced built-in measurement applications (drift, OSNR, data logging, FP laser characterization)
Built-in HeNe laser wavelength standard
Benefits.
Fast wavelength scanning allows you to characterize optical devices versus wavelength twice as fast.
Excellent wavelength accuracy allows you to reliably and accurately characterize channels in dense WDM systems to detect wavelength variations in channels and crosstalk between adjacent channels.
Enables you to test transmitters without the need for additional connections and instrumentation, such as attenuators.
Built-in applications make the new multi-wavelength meter an intelligent stand-alone test bench, reducing space requirements and costly test program development efforts.
The built-in HeNe guarantees real-time, accurate absolute wavelength measurements according to standards at all times, while ensuring accurate and reproducible experimental results.
