Functional Features
Low noise: Probe has a 1:1 attenuation ratio, increasing the background noise of the oscilloscope by only 10%
Wide bias range: A wide bias range of +/-24 V allows the user to use the most sensitive settings of the oscilloscope and place the signal in the center of the screen
Low DC load effect: 50 kΩ DC input impedance does not add significant load to the DC supply
Wide effective signal range: In addition to a wide bias range, the effective signal range is as wide as +/-850 mV, allowing users to measure large jumps in supply voltage
Wide bandwidth: 2 GHz bandwidth makes it easy to capture fast transients that cause clock and digital data distortion
Designed for power integrity measurements, the N7020A power supply probe features mV-level sensitivity, allowing users to more accurately detect noise, ripple and transients on DC power supplies. The probe is ideal for measuring random and periodic disturbances (PARD), static and dynamic load response, programmable power supply response, and similar power integrity measurements. Most products today are becoming increasingly demanding in their DC power supply tolerances and the N7020A power probe will help users ensure that the products they design meet these requirements.
The N7020A power probe can be used with Keysight InfiniiVision 3000T and 4000 X-Series oscilloscopes, InfiniiVision 6000 X-Series oscilloscopes, and Infiniium S-Series DSO and MSO high-resolution oscilloscopes, Infiniium 9000-Series DSO and MSO oscilloscopes running software version 5.20 or later, ordered after February 1, 2016. If you need more bandwidth, the N7024A power probe has a bandwidth of up to 6 GHz and can be used with S-, V-, and Z-series Infiniium oscilloscopes.
