AQ6370D is an upgraded model of AQ6370C with the following main differences:


- The AQ6370D adds features such as data logging, gated sampling, resolution correction and advanced markers to record and analyse more spectral data.


- The AQ6370D is available in both standard and high-performance models, with the high-performance version offering higher wavelength accuracy, dynamic range and stray light rejection.


- The AQ6370D's extended scanning range of 50,001 data sampling points allows measurement of a wider wavelength range while maintaining high resolution.


- The AQ6370D has been discontinued on 1 December 2023 and its replacement is the AQ6370E.

The AQ6370C can be used for testing and research and development of optical active devices, optical passive devices, optical transmission equipment, etc. The AQ6370C is a spectrum analyser, manufactured by Yokogawa Metrology & Instrumentation, which was discontinued in 2014:

- Power-on calibration: Connect the optical input connector and optical output connector of the spectrum analyzer with optical fibre, and press the SYSTEM OPTICAL ALIGNMENT and EXECUTE softkeys to perform alignment adjustment and wavelength calibration.


- Setting Test Conditions: Press SWEEP AUTO to execute automatic measurement, or press SPAN, LEVEL and SETUP to manually set parameters such as scanning range, reference power, resolution and sensitivity.


- Connect the device under test: connect the optical input connector of the spectrum analyzer and the optical output connector of the device under test with optical fibre and observe the measurement waveform.


- Analyze the measurement results: Press ANALYSIS to select the corresponding analysis function, such as wavelength, power, OSNR, SMSR, spectral width, etc., or press MARKER to set the marker point and read the data on the waveform.
