Faster measurement speed (2x fast measurement)
Production of tunable light sources and tunable optical transceivers requires high-speed measurement and fast processing capabilities. The AQ6150 series can acquire, analyze and transfer measurement data to a PC within 0.2 seconds.
Wavelength accuracy up to ±0.2ppm
There are two models in the AQ6150 series. The AQ6151B is a high-precision optical wavelength meter with wavelength accuracy of ±0.2ppm, which can meet the highest level of accuracy measurement requirements.
The AQ6150 series has a real-time calibration function, which ensures long-term stability of measurement by means of a highly stable reference signal from the built-in wavelength reference source.
Supports CW, modulated transceiver and optical filter measurements
The optical output of the optical transceiver and optical transmission system is modulated by transmission frequencies of 10G and 25Gbps. The built-in spectral analysis function uses FFT technology to measure the modulated spreading signal.
In addition to the conventional CW optical mode, the AQ6150 series also has a modulated optical mode. The modulated light mode analyzes the spectrum to obtain the center wavelength of the modulated light and can be used to measure the center wavelength of optical filters such as bandpass filters, AWG and WSS.
Simultaneous measurement of up to 1024 wavelengths
The AQ6150 series can simultaneously, quickly and accurately measure up to 1024 different wavelengths of a single input signal at a minimum interval of 5 GHz, which means that the AQ6150 series optical wavelength meter can meet the test needs of WDM transmission system development and production, both now and in the future.
By combining multiple laser modules or optical transceivers with an optocoupler and measuring all signals at once, the multi-wavelength measurement capability also helps to increase efficiency and reduce costs in the production of single-wavelength laser devices.
Low power input while maintaining high performance
With automatic gain control (AGC), the AQ6150 series automatically adjusts the gain of the electronic amplifier based on the input signal power. This helps maximize wavelength accuracy and measurement speed, even at input signal powers as low as -40dBm.
High-speed measurements increase production throughput
The tuning and definition of tunable light sources and tunable optical transceivers requires hundreds of wavelength measurements per device. The ability to improve production throughput, high-speed measurements and fast processing capabilities are critical.
Both the AQ6150B and AQ6151B measure, analyze, and transmit results to a PC in as little as 0.2 seconds. This speed is two times faster than Yokogawa's previous AQ6150 and AQ6151, dramatically increasing production throughput. In repeat measurement mode, the AQ6150 series can complete 10 measurements per second, making it ideal for real-time wavelength monitoring while making adjustments to optical devices.
