The CMW 500 is designed to support terminal testing for all communication standards currently on the market and to be able to adapt to future technological developments by supporting new standards and features through software upgrades.

CMW 500 Applications in Wireless Communications

Terminal Test: CMW 500 supports terminal test for almost all communication standards in the market, including but not limited to GSM, GPRS, EDGE, EDGE Evolution, Mobile WiMAX™, LTE FDD/TDD, TD-SCDMA, WCDMA/HSDPA, HSPA+, CDMA2000, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, etc.

Signalling and non-signalling tests: CMW 500 supports not only signalling tests for LTE-FDD and LTE-TDD terminals, but also non-signalling tests. Signalling test is suitable for R&D department to simulate the communication process between mobile phone and base station, while non-signalling test is suitable for production line for simple receiving or transmitting test.

Physical Layer Characterisation: The CMW 500 is capable of testing and verifying the physical layer characteristics of cellular and wireless LANs (WLANs), such as receive sensitivity, BER, spectrum analysis and radio signal quality.

Data transmission testing: The CMW 500 is capable of performing low and high rate data transmission testing, including point-to-point testing, FTP downloads and uploads, video streaming, voice transmission and VoLTE.

Advanced Measurement Capabilities: The CMW 500 is equipped with a number of advanced measurement capabilities, such as MIMO and MF-TDMA testing, multi-channel testing, and testing in NB-IoT and Internet of Things (IoT). It also supports a variety of test configurations and test cases, including multi-unit testing, parallel testing, evaluation mode testing and differential measurement testing.

Wide range of applications: The CMW 500 is widely used in wireless communications, electronics manufacturing and embedded systems, including the development, production, testing, verification and maintenance of related devices and systems. It is also widely used in industries such as telecom operators, terminal manufacturers and network equipment suppliers.

The CMW 500 is a full-featured and adaptable wireless communication tester that can meet a wide range of wireless communication testing needs and plays an important role in many fields.
