The Yokogawa Yokogawa AQ6370D is a spectrum analyzer for communications and general purpose applications that measures the wavelength range from 600 nm to 1700 nm with high accuracy, high resolution, high dynamic range, and fast measurements. The AQ6370D is available in two models, the standard and high performance, with the high performance version offering higher wavelength accuracy and dynamic range.

AQ6370D Warning

This instrument is designed for indoor use. Do not place or use this instrument outdoors.

Place the instrument in a location where the power cord can be unplugged immediately in the event of an abnormal or hazardous situation.

The instrument has a built-in reference light source for wavelength calibration, and the optical output connector always emits infrared light to the outside. Do not look directly at the optical output connector with your eyes. If infrared rays are emitted into the eyes, they may cause eye injury or even loss of vision.

Yokogawa AQ6370D Spectrometer CAUTION

Do not vibrate the instrument.

Place the instrument horizontally and do not drop it from a height of more than two meters. This will seriously affect the accuracy of the built-in monochromatic mirror and may even damage the instrument's performance. When transporting the instrument, please be careful and use shock-proof packaging, the quality of which should not be lower than the factory level.

Do not use simple packaging, as it will not adequately cushion the vibration and collision that occurs during transportation, which will seriously affect the accuracy of the built-in monochromator and may even damage the instrument's performance.

Unpacking

When the instrument is unpacked and taken out after being packed and transported, please allow a certain period of time for the instrument to fully adapt to the environmental changes in order to avoid condensation.

AQ6370D Spectrum Analyzer General Precautions

Do not place objects on the instrument

Do not stack the instrument or place other instruments or water containers on top of the instrument, as this may cause malfunction.

Handling the instrument

The instrument should be carried by two persons. The instrument weighs about 19kg, so hold the handles on both sides of the instrument to avoid injury. Turn off the power switch and unplug the power cord and other cables before transporting the instrument.

When cleaning stains

When cleaning stains on the chassis or operation panel, disconnect the power supply from the measurement circuit and the instrument, unplug the power cord from the instrument's power connector, and wipe gently with a clean, soft, dry cloth. Do not use volatile chemicals, which may cause discoloration or deformation.
