Analog oscilloscope is a kind of oscilloscope based on analog circuit, and the waveform display part is CRT picture tube (oscilloscope tube), which is a kind of oscilloscope commonly used for real-time waveform detection

As shown in the figure, the overall structure of a typical analog oscilloscope. It is mainly composed of display part, key button control area, test line, probe, shell and other parts.

1. Display section

The display part of the oscilloscope is mainly composed of a display screen, a shield and a dial, as shown in the figure.

2. Key button control area

The right side of the analog oscilloscope is the key button control area, each key button has a symbol mark to indicate the function, and the function of each key button and jack is different. The next section details the functional features of each button.

3. Test wire and probe

The test line and probe of the analog oscilloscope are devices that transmit the signal of the measured circuit to the input circuit of the analog oscilloscope.

The figure shows the test line and probe of a typical analog oscilloscope. The probe is mainly composed of a test probe head (probe, probe sheath and hook), a handle, a ground clamp, a connection cable and a probe connection. The probe sheath is located at the head of the probe and is mainly protective. At the front end of the probe sheath is the probe hook (probe hook). The probe is located at the head of the probe and can be seen by unscrewing the probe sheath. During detection, the signal waveform can be detected by using the probe hook or connecting the probe to the tested pin.
