The whole structure of the analog oscilloscope

Analog oscilloscope is a kind of oscilloscope using analog circuit as the basis, display waveform components for CRT picture tube (oscilloscope), is more commonly used a real-time detection of waveform oscilloscope.

As shown in the figure, the entire structure of a typical analog oscilloscope. Mainly by the display part, key knob control area, test line and probe, housing and other parts of the composition.

Display part: the display part of the oscilloscope is mainly composed of display, shroud and dial

Key control area

The right side of the analog oscilloscope is the key control area, each key is marked with a symbol to indicate its function, and each key and jack has a different function. The next section will introduce the functional characteristics of each key button in detail.

Test line and probe

The test line and probe of the analog oscilloscope are the devices that transmit the signal of the circuit under test to the input circuit of the analog oscilloscope.

As shown in the figure, the test line and probe of a typical analog oscilloscope. The probe is mainly composed of test probe head (probe, probe sheath and hook), handle, ground clamp, connecting cable and probe connector. Probe sheath is located in the head of the probe, mainly to play a protective role. In the front of the probe sheath is the probe hook (probe hook). The probe is located in the head of the probe, unscrew the probe sheath to see the probe, when testing, use the probe hook or probe and the pin to be measured to achieve the detection of the signal waveform.
