To meet the rapidly expanding data traffic in today's world of smartphones and mobile devices, data centre network interfaces are moving to the faster 200 GbE, 400 GbE and 800 GbE standards. In the context of this industry application, communication equipment interconnections have begun to adopt not only PCI Express Gen5, which supports faster speeds of up to 32 Gbit/s, but also multichannel technology.


Anritsu has introduced the MP1900A Series Signal Quality Analyser-R, a high-performance BERT with eight module slots that extends measurement applications with PPG/ED and jitter/noise generators to support faster devices for signal integrity analysis. In addition to physical layer measurements for broadband network interfaces, the all-in-one MP1900A also supports measurements for interfaces such as the PCI Express bus.


MP1900A supports applications: 100 GbE / 200 GbE / 400 GbE / 800 GbE, CEI-25G / 28G / 56G / 112G, InfiniBand EDR / HDR, Fibre Channel, PCI Express Gen1 / 2/3/4/5, Thunderbolt 1/2/3, USB3 . / 4 Type C, SAS-3 / -4, DP1.4, Optical Module, SERDES, AOC, High Speed Interconnect.

 

The Signal Quality Analyzer-R MP1900A from Anritsu offers two test solutions, the PAM4 test solution and the high-speed serial bus interface test solution (PCI Express, USB, Thunderbolt).
