The R&S®ESW's outstanding RF characteristics, excellent dynamic range and satisfactory measurement accuracy make it ideal for fast and reliable certification measurements. The receiver meets the stringent requirements of CISPR, EN, MIL-STD-461, DO-160 and FCC standards, and the R&S®ESW comes as standard with FFT-based time-domain scanning for fast measurements. The wideband extension option with FFT bandwidths up to 970 MHz allows the receiver to simultaneously measure CISPR bands C and D. High-bandwidth acquisition measurements can be made in real time, even when the CISPR detector is enabled.
- Frequency range: 1 Hz to 8 GHz, 26.5 GHz or 44 GHz
- Compliant with CISPR 16-1-1, ANSI C63.2, MIL-STD-461, and FCC standards
- Outstanding dynamic range and accuracy
- Ultra-fast measurements with FFT-based time-domain sweeps
- Real-time waterfall plots with up to 970 MHz bandwidth (optional)
The R&S®ESW complies with CISPR 16-1-1, ANSI C63.2, MIL-STD-461 and FCC standards and provides all necessary bandwidths and detectors. Pre-configured with limit lines and test automation, the receivers are ideally suited to performing EMI testing to all relevant standards.
Speed is important, especially when testing equipment with short run times, and the R&S®ESW features FFT-based time-domain scanning (TDS), which allows long frequency bands to be measured simultaneously, rather than having to individually measure the bandwidth of the resolution for each observation period, as is the case with the traditional step-and-scan mode. The Wideband Expansion option extends the FFT bandwidth to 970 MHz for simultaneous measurements in CISPR bands C and D. High-bandwidth acquisition measurements can be made in real time, even when the CISPR detector is enabled.
