The 663xx family of mobile communication DC power supplies from Yestech offers a wide range of features that make them ideal for testing wireless and battery-powered devices. Excellent voltage transient response minimizes equipment downtime due to significant voltage drops in test wiring, ensuring maximum test system throughput. A built-in advanced measurement system is used to accurately measure battery current consumption when the device is operating in different modes, and features developed by Knowlesys enable cell phone manufacturers to detect permanent and intermittent open-sense line connections.
The Keysight 66319D dual output DC power supply for mobile communications provides two outputs for testing main battery power and battery charger circuits, allowing customers to test both handsets and chargers with the same device. This feature helps save rack space (2 outputs occupy a ½ rack case) by eliminating the need for two separate power supplies. The 66319D DC power supply provides all the features of the 66319B with the addition of a built-in digital voltmeter.
When the 66319D is used with Keysight 14565B software, R&D engineers can characterize the current output of the battery and make tradeoffs in designs that affect current consumption and battery life by providing data logging (up to 1000 hours), CCDF statistical analysis, and waveform capture.
