The 40/100G Ethernet Analyzer MD1260A is the ideal test instrument to support production testing of 40 G/100 GbE transport devices and the installation and turn-up of 40 G/100 GbE networks. One MD1260A can support 40 G/100 GbE, OTU3, and OTU4. Each interface rate is optional and can be added very easily when needed.

Scalable multi-unit platform
Up to 16 MD1260A units can be used together to evaluate multi-port switches and routers, as well as to batch test multiple transmission devices. In addition, the unit synchronization feature can be used to synchronize the time stamps of test frames sent from each MD1260A, as well as to synchronize high background load generation for testing latency in a multi-unit environment.
Feature Evaluation for the Latest 40 G/100 GbE Technologies
The MD1260A supports phase difference generation and monitoring of CAUI/XLAUI data for all channels or per channel, and phase difference redundancy between test channels.
OTU4 - GMP Mapping Support
Use GMP (Generic Mapping Protocol) to map Ethernet client signals to OTU4 signals to simulate verification of real operation.
Support for ping scan function
This feature performs pinging by automatically changing the Ethernet frame length, which is a convenient and comprehensive way to check the frame length reliability of Ethernet links.
