N1078A Keysight optical/electrical clock recovery

The Keysight N1078A optical/electrical clock recovery module provides standards-compliant clock recovery for PAM4 and NRZ single-mode optical and electrical signals from 125 MBd to 64 GBd.

• With 125 MBd to 64 GBd data rate range (continuous), supports optical/electrical NRZ and PAM4 data signals

• Adjustable peak and loop bandwidths (up to 20 MHz) to provide standards-compliant clock recovery ("ideal PLL")

• Built-in variable equalizer (option EVA) locks out quality degraded signals ("closed eye diagram")

• In-depth analysis of the root cause of jitter using the jitter spectrum analysis function (option JSA)

• Perform standards-compliant PLL bandwidth and peak measurements with the N1010300A FlexPLL application software and N1081PLCA PCI Express PLL test application software
