High optical output power: +13 dBm
Wide tuning range: 1520 nm to 1630 nm
Built-in wavelength meter provides high accuracy: +/-20 pm
Built-in coherence control
Excited Brillouin scattering suppression
The Keysight 81940A high-power compact tunable laser source allows characterization of optical components at high power levels and measurement of nonlinear effects. It enhances the ability to test all types of optical amplifiers, other active components, and broadband passive optical components. As a single-slot plug-in module for the Keysight 8163A/B, 8164A/B, and 8166A/B mainframes, it provides flexible, cost-effective excitation for single-channel and DWDM test applications. Each module has a total wavelength coverage of up to 110 nm in the C+L band.
