The Keysight 86122C Multi-Wavelength Meter features ±0.2 ppm absolute wavelength accuracy and ±0.15 ppm differential wavelength accuracy, making it ideal for optical communications testing. With a wavelength range of 1270 to 1650 nm, it covers all fibre-to-the-home, downtown, and long-haul transmission systems. This multiwavelength meter can measure the spectrum of up to 1,000 laser lines at a time, enough to support a fully configured Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) system.

The new Keysight 86122C Multi-Wavelength Meter features ±0.2 ppm absolute and ±0.15 ppm differential wavelength accuracy, making it ideal for optical communications testing. With a wavelength range of 1270 to 1650 nm, it covers all fibre-to-the-home, downtown, and long-haul transmission systems. The new 86122C is an updated version of the proven 86122A and 86122B. It is suitable for the efficient development, manufacture and verification of tunable transmitter laser sources and optical communication subsystems for current and future high-speed applications. Because of their outstanding reliability and durability, these products are often found on production floors and engineers' benches, as well as on ships. Based on the extensive statistics provided by most wavelength meters currently in use in the industry, we are continually improving our instrument designs in an effort to reduce cost of ownership and extend service life, especially in 24x7 non-stop testing.

We have extended the 86122C's recommended calibration interval to two years and doubled the life expectancy of the built-in reference laser source. This new multiwavelength meter comes with a 5-year warranty covering the reference laser source and all opto-mechanical and opto-electronic components. To ensure even more continuous support, the 86122C features the Windows ® 7 operating system. USB ports on the front and rear panels allow the connection of USB sticks for data exchange, as well as a mouse and keyboard for more comfortable operation.

New Quick Update Option for the 86122C Multi-Wavelength Meter

Our flagship model, the Keysight 86122C, now offers faster update rates. The new option, 86122C-110, increases the update rate from 2 to 3 updates per second. The measurement cycle time has been reduced from 0.5 to 0.3 seconds. For compatibility reasons, the update rate of option 86122C-100 remains at the previous level.
