Santec has developed a new model, the TSL-570, a high performance tunable laser with a wide tuning range, high output optical power and high signal-to-noise ratio. It features a new optical resonator design with precise scanning speeds up to 200nm/s and sub-picron resolution and accuracy.


Tunable lasers are widely used in photonics research such as optical device characterisation, optical integrated circuit testing, quantum optics, spectroscopy and sensing testing. Santec's TSL-570 is a high specification, full-featured test instrument suitable for a wide range of applications. It features an easy-to-operate touch screen and can be operated remotely via Ethernet, GPIB and USB external connections.
